Four generations of my family from Australia & the UK stayed at the Rainforest Resort in order to attend my son's wedding. We were accommodated in 2 cabins and the fact that the resort had communal recreational/dining facilities in addition to the cabin enabled us all to get together for meals and catch up on all the family news in a relaxed & spacious environment without disturbing other occupants.
The quiet peacefullness of the bushland within which the resort is set was a welcome respite from the wedding & other family activities which went over the 3 days we stayed. Everyone in the family was happy with the accommodation & expressed an interest in returning - perhaps for an extended family reunion next year?
As our family were in Byron Bay for a wedding, we saw very little of the surrounding area, apart from the beach where the wedding was held and Bangalow for one of the parties and the reception venue which was held between the 2 locations. We did however, venture into the town itself briefly which was larger than I had expected and very busy with holiday makers. Much more traffic than I would have though for a large country town.
The beaches were spectacular though my nephew informed me that the surf while we were there was not that good for surfing as he had hoped.

Byron bay is one of the awesome holiday destination. i visited with my6 family last year and stayed in Byron bay luxury accomadation. the stay was very good. and i really enjoyed the stay.
